This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of services provided by HostLift (“we”, “us”, “our”), including web hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, domains, and related services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
1. General Use
You agree to use HostLift services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights. You are responsible for all content, data, and activities conducted through your account.
2. Prohibited Content & Activities
The following content and activities are strictly prohibited on HostLift services:
Illegal or Harmful Content
Content that violates local, national, or international laws
Fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive practices
Malware, viruses, ransomware, or malicious code
Hacking, brute-force attacks, or unauthorized access attempts
Abuse & Spam
Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam)
Email bombing or mail flooding
Hosting spam-related websites or services
Blacklisting IP addresses due to abusive behavior
Adult & Offensive Content
Child sexual abuse material (strictly prohibited)
Bestiality or extreme pornographic content
Content promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination
Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
Copyright & Intellectual Property
Hosting pirated software, movies, music, or books
Copyright infringement or trademark violations
Warez, cracks, or illegal downloads
3. Resource Usage
Clients must not use excessive server resources that negatively impact other users.
Prohibited actions include:
Excessive CPU, RAM, or disk usage
Crypto mining or distributed computing
Running unauthorized background processes
Hosting large file-sharing services without approval
HostLift reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate services that exceed fair usage limits.
4. Domain Usage
Domains registered or managed through HostLift must not be used for:
Phishing or impersonation
Trademark abuse or domain squatting
Illegal redirection or deceptive practices
We comply with ICANN policies and may suspend domains that violate regulations.
5. Security Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Securing your account credentials
Keeping scripts, CMS, and software updated
Preventing unauthorized access
Compromised accounts causing harm may be suspended immediately to protect our network.
6. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in:
Warning or request for correction
Temporary suspension
Permanent termination without refund
Reporting to authorities if required by law
HostLift reserves the right to take action at its sole discretion to protect its services, customers, and reputation.
7. Changes to This Policy
HostLift may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
