HostLift – Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern your use of web hosting, domain registration, and related services provided by HostLift (“HostLift,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
HostLift provides:
Shared web hosting
VPS and/or dedicated hosting (if applicable)
Domain name registration and management
Related hosting and website services
All services are subject to availability and compliance with this Agreement.
2. Account Registration
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Be responsible for all activities under your account
HostLift reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false or misleading information.
3. Payments & Billing
All services must be paid in advance.
Fees are billed according to the selected billing cycle (monthly, annually, etc.).
Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination.
Prices are subject to change with notice.
All payments are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy.
4. Refund Policy
If HostLift offers a money-back guarantee (e.g., 7-day or 30-day guarantee), refunds apply only to hosting services and do not apply to:
Domain name registrations
Domain renewals
Domain transfers
Add-on services
Setup fees
Domain registrations are non-refundable once processed.
5. Domain Name Registration
When purchasing or registering a domain name:
You agree to comply with ICANN regulations.
Domain registration is subject to availability.
Domain fees are non-refundable once the domain is registered.
You are responsible for renewing your domain before expiration.
HostLift is not responsible for domain expiration due to failure to renew.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use HostLift services for:
Illegal activities
Spam or unsolicited email
Malware distribution
Phishing or fraudulent schemes
Hosting copyrighted content without permission
Adult content (if prohibited by your policy)
Excessive server resource abuse
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating this policy without prior notice.
7. Resource Usage
Hosting accounts must not:
Overload servers
Use excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth beyond plan limits
Interfere with other customers’ services
Accounts exceeding limits may be suspended or required to upgrade.
8. Service Availability
HostLift strives to maintain high uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We are not liable for:
Network failures
Data loss
Hardware failures
Third-party service interruptions
Force majeure events
Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups unless otherwise specified.
9. Backups & Data Loss
While we may provide backup services, HostLift does not guarantee data restoration.
You are solely responsible for maintaining independent backups of your website and data.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
HostLift may suspend or terminate services if:
Payments are overdue
You violate these Terms
Your activities threaten server stability or security
Fraudulent activity is suspected
Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.
11. Limitation of Liability
HostLift shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of profits or revenue
Loss of data
Business interruption
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the preceding billing period.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HostLift harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services.
13. Modifications to Terms
HostLift reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which HostLift operates.
